After a historic 2023-24 season for the Mason hoops programs, Athletic Director Marvin Lewis announced that both Coach Skinn and Coach Blair-Lewis are locked up long term with both leaders inking contract extensions this week.

🔼 Meet Us In Milwaukee. The pieces are coming together.

With a couple of games already on the docket, the George Mason men’s hoops team was announced as a part of a multi-team event hosted by Marquette University this upcoming November.

The Patriots will head to Milwaukee to battle the Golden Eagles on Friday, November 8. As part of the Marquette Challenge, George Mason also will host Stony Brook on Monday, November 11 and Central Michigan on Wednesday, November 13.

The November 8 contest at the on-campus Al McGuire Center marks the first ever matchup between George Mason and Marquette on the hardwood.

🔼 Battling The Best. While some of us are looking for ways to relaxing heading into the weekend, Mason track & field assistant coach Susanna Sullivan will be amping up to vie for a life-long dream.

At the U.S. Olympic Trials, Sullivan is vying to secure a place on Team USA to fulfill a dream and represent the United States at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. To qualify, she needs a top three finish in the 10,000-meter final scheduled for Friday, June 28 at 6:10 p.m. Eastern time. The event will air on the NBC/Peacock platforms.
 
An assistant for the past two seasons for the Patriots, Sullivan got her qualifier for the trials by finishing with a personal best time of 31:55.80 in March 2023 at the meet named The TEN held in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. She is the #15 ranked entrant among 25 runners accepted by the USATF in the event.
