IT'S GAME TIME! Get involved, tell your teammates, & donate today!

🔼 No Slowing Down. Fresh off capturing the 2023 A10 Softball Championship, there was no slow down for the Patriots.

We got horseback riding, coaching at their alma mater, and much more.

These girls get stuff down!

🔼 Be Uncommon. As the school year winded down, the students at Eagle View Elementary School wrapped up a true special year with some of our Patriots.

Throughout the year, Mason wrestlers visited with students and spent time with them.

In the final week of school, the Patriots went back for one more visit and even tried to teach some of their wrestling moves.

Patriots in the community — nothing better!

🌠 WHERE ARE THEY WEDNESDAYS

Shawn Stiffler - George Mason Baseball - Class of 2001

This spring, the Mason baseball program gave us all a ride to remember.

One of the program’s alums who helped build the foundation, both as a player and a coach, Shawn Stiffler is hoping to do the same at one of the country’s most prestigious universities in Notre Dame.

Stiffler just finished his first season with the Fightin’ Irish after 11 seasons at the helm of VCU.

During his time in Fairfax, the southpaw earned All-American accolades during his junior season, but elected to finish his career and immediately went back into the dugout spending five years as an assistant with the Patriots.

In 12 seasons as a Division I head coach, Stiffler, a Somerset, Pa. native, has piled up 382 wins and a .623 winning percentage.

His wife is also a former Patriot, Jenn Orr, who starred on the women’s soccer team during her time at Mason.

⭐ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 57 DAYS

We are exactly 57 days away from the return of Patriot Athletics to your lives!

That’s the exactly number of conference titles that Mason has won in its 45 years at the Division I level, including titles by women’s track & field, softball and baseball this past spring.

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: Women’s Cross Country

We threw a little bit of a curveball at you because both the women’s cross country team and the men’s soccer team won championships in 1984-85, however the women’s cross country title came two weeks before men’s soccer captured the crown!

Have a great Wednesday Patriots!
