🔺 Bye, Bye, Bye. Wednesday was the Mason’s WBB squad’s “Jordan Day.”

A stellar performance by freshman Kennedy Harris led the Patriots to a decisive 78-53 victory over Dayton to earn their 23rd victory of the season, one shy of the program record.

The win also clinched Mason’s first-ever top-four seed in the upcoming A-10 Tournament, which gives them a double bye into the quarterfinals.

Harris’ career-night with 27 points was highlighted by stellar three-point shooting, where the rookie matched her career-high of five makes from deep. Overall, she made a career-high nine field goals on 15 attempts to go along with a career-high eight rebounds to lead the team.

🔺 Heartbreak In The Capital. The record was almost extended again.

But ultimately, the Mason women’s lacrosse team suffered its first loss of the season in an 11-10 heartbreaker at American on Thursday afternoon.

Senior sensation Shannon Tuozzo continued her stellar season with four goals, five points, eight draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers.

🔺 Madness Of March. Just a few days into March and the madness is already hitting Fairfax.

Not one, not two, not three, but 4️⃣ Green & Gold squads are at home this weekend.

The men’s hoops squad hit the floor at EagleBank Arena for their first of two final home regular season games of 2023-24.

Softball hosts back-to-back doubleheaders with Stony Brook (Saturday) and Cornell (Sunday) visiting Fairfax. Baseball is set to host Fairfield in a three-game set beginning this afternoon and finally, the men’s volleyball team hosts Saint Francis tomorrow night at 5 pm.
