📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Double Dippin’. What’s better than a Patriots game night? How about ✌️ game nights!

The Green & Gold are hitting the hardwood at home and in Philly as the men’s take on one of the preseason A-10 favorites in Saint Joe’s, while the women, who have won six straight, host Fordham looking to stay red-hot!

Tip off at EBA and in Philly is set for 7 pm.

🔺 Connect Four. We told you on Monday about how great a weekend it was for the Green & Gold.

Now, we’ve got even more evidence of that.

To quote LeBron…. “Not one, not two, not three”, but 4️⃣ Patriots earned Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week accolades.

Men’s Basketball’s Baraka Okojie, men’s swimming’s Alex Crown, women’s basketball’s Zahirah Walton and men’s track and field’s Walt Bannerman all earned the honor.

We’d have to say… the future is pretty, pretty bright in Fairfax!

🙌 THE PATRIOT WAY

Sure, we all love the wins. Sure, we all love the championships.

But these pictures, that’s what it’s truly all about.

Some of our baseball standouts spent some time this week at Daniels Run Elementary working with the kids and even had the kids helping them!

⚾️ BATTER’S UP!

With the Mason baseball season right around the corner, the program is excited to have its annual First Pitch Dinner on tap this weekend in Fairfax.

This year’s event will feature MLB Executive of the Year Mike Elias, vice president and general manager of the Baltimore Orioles.

This year’s First Pitch Dinner will be held Feb. 2 at Dewberry Hall on the campus of George Mason University beginning at 5 p.m.

Elias was named the MLB Executive of the Year, voted on by all 30 MLB clubs and he was also selected Sporting News MLB Executive of the Year by American League and National League executives. He concluded his 17th season in Major League Baseball and his sixth season as general manager of Orioles.  He was hired by Baltimore on Nov. 16, 2018.
