🔼 Back at the RAC. Last weekend, the RAC was the place to be.

This weekend? That doesn’t change as the Mason volleyball team is back at home right here in Fairfax to host the annual Patriot Invitational.

Showdowns with MTSU (12 pm) and Albany (7 pm) tonight will be followed with a meeting with Seattle tomorrow afternoon at 2 pm for what should be an exciting weekend.

The Mason cross country squads will be doing just that tonight at the CNU Invitational as they head to Newport News to lace ‘em up for the second time this season.

First race will get underway at 5 pm.

Man, we can’t wait for the return of Mason hoops! We are 5️⃣1️⃣ days away from the opener and the squad will be back on the courts for the official start of practice in less than two weeks!

🗓: The Full 2023-24 Women’s Basketball Schedule

🔼 Lid Lifted. Veterans Milan Pierre-Jerome and Rachel Eberly fired their first goals of the 2023 season into the back of the net, but it wasn’t enough as Fordham rallied for four second-half goals to defeat the Patriots, 4-2, on Thursday night in the Bronx in the conference opener for both squads.

The Green and Gold return home on Sunday to host long-time rival VCU at 3 pm for Pups at the Pitch, where all fans will receive a free dog toy.

Grand Finale. Grad student Nina Spaar is making the most of her time in Fairfax with a strong start to her final collegiate season.

In three years at Santa Clara, Spaar tallied double-digit kills in five matches.

Just nine matches into her Patriot career, the Hilo, Hawaii native already has eight double-digit kill performances.

She’s registered a career-high twice this year and that total is currently the single match high by anyone in the entire Atlantic 10. What is Spaar’s single-match career high in kills?
