Grab those friends, grab some lunch to go and meet us in the Capital as the red-hot Mason women’s basketball team looks to battle for bragging rights against local rival George Washington in a critical Atlantic 10 showdown.

Winners of four straight and six of the past seven, the Green & Gold look to keep pace in the A-10 standings with tip time in Foggy Bottom set for 12 pm.

For the third time this year and second straight week, sophomore Zahirah Walton was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week.

Walton’s honor marks the fifth-straight and sixth overall Rookie of the Week honor for the Patriots this season, as she already earned it on Dec. 26 and Jan. 15 and freshman Kennedy Harris has earned it three times.
