George Mason Athletics and multimedia rights partner, Playfly Sports -- George Mason Sports Properties, announced today that MASN Mid-Atlantic Sports Network will broadcast 7️⃣ Patriots basketball home games during the 2023-24 season.
 
Additionally, The George Mason Basketball Coaches Show with Tony Skinn will air on the regional sports network during the course of the year. The first episode is scheduled to air Thursday, November 2 at 8 p.m.

The George Mason Basketball Coaches Show with Tony Skinn is hosted and sponsored by Capital Ale House in Fairfax. The restaurant will be the spot for eight shows throughout the 2023-24 season.

🔼 Split In Steel City. The Mason volleyball team is making sure people know they are coming.

The Patriots pulled out a split in a weekend trip to Pittsburgh to take on A-10 foe Duquesne, earning a win on Saturday, 3-1, thanks to a huge night from Camille Larkin.

In the win, Larkin led the Mason offense with a career and game-high 14 kills at a .444 clip. It marks the third time this season that she has posted double-figures as the middle hitter now has a personal best 176 kills on the season.

With Saturday’s victory, it gave Mason eight wins, the most in a single-season since 2018.

🔼 Off and Rolling. The Mason wrestling team started its 2023-24 season in a big way at this past weekend’s Battle at the Citadel Meet.

As a team, the Patriots grabbed six top-three finishes with newcomer Chad Nix and redshirt freshman DJ McGhee (157 lbs) both taking home the top spots in their respective classes.

Nix’s run to the title at 285 lbs included a defeat of the 20th-ranked wrestler in the country.

Also finishing in the top-three were Evan Maag (3rd - 165lbs), Kaden Cassidy (2nd - 149 lbs), Loranzo Rajaonarivelo (2nd - 157 lbs) and Tyler Kocak (2nd - 197 lbs).
