The Mason women’s lacrosse team used that lucky number to celebrate a BIG weekend. And they weren’t the only Patriots with some big wins!

🔺 Lucky #13. Maybe T-Swift has been right all these years.

For the ninth time this year, the Mason women’s lacrosse team scored 13+ goals in a game this year. For the eighth time, the Patriots came away with a win, this time a 13-10 victory over St. Bonaventure in a critical part of the race for a spot in the upcoming Atlantic 10 Tournament.

Shannon Tuozzo scored five goals and an assist to lead the offensive attack yet again. Its the fourth time this season that Tuozzo has scored at least five goals in a game.

Tuozzo’s classmate Meghan Deehan matched a career-high with 15 saves to lead a defensive effort that never allowed the Bonnies to take a lead at any point in the contest.

🔺 Turning Two. With only a few weeks remaining in Atlantic 10 play, every game is more and more critical.

The reigning conference champs picked up two big ones this weekend, winning the series on the road at UMass with wins of 7-5 and 12-6 in the first two games of the weekend.

Senior Sydney Bales had a huge weekend for the Patriots, finishing 7-for-10 with four runs scored and two RBIs to key the offensive attack.

🔺 Senior Salute. What a way to close out the collegiate career.

In his final tune-up prior to the A-10 Championship next week, senior Momin Khan made sure to enjoy his senior day, helping the Mason men’s tennis squad to a sweep of visiting Villanova, 4-0, on Senior Day.
