🔼 Think Pink. This weekend, the Mason volleyball team returns to the RAC for more than just a home series with Loyola Chicago. They’ve got a much bigger cause at their hearts.
The Patriots will be hosting their annual “Dig Pink” games with a commemorative t-shirt given out to the first 200 fans that attend Saturday’s showdown with Loyola Chicago.
With just five weeks remaining in the regular season, Mason finds themselves just one game out of the sixth and final spot in the upcoming Atlantic 10 Championship.
📝: Previewing the Weekend
🔼 Keep Grinding. The young Mason women’s soccer team is winding down their 2023 season and took on one of the top programs in the A-10 on Thursday night, falling on the road to Dayton, 3-0.
The Patriots wrap up their season with home games on Sunday (George Washington at 5 pm) and Thursday (St. Bonaventure at 5 pm).

Helping Hands. Throughout his time as an All-Region defender with the Patriots, Taylor Washington dished out three assists while anchoring the back line.
Nowadays, in his fifth MLS season and a member of the Nashville SC club, Washington is dishing out a much more impactful assist.
Taking lessons from his own father, the former Patriot has partnered with a local partner to help feed the homeless in the Nashville community.
🏀 FIFTY IS NIFTY
During the 2023-24 season, the Patriots are recognizing and celebrating 50 years of women's basketball at GMU.
Throughout the year, the program and department will be highlighting major milestones, events and athletes over the past 50 years. One of the first women's varsity sports offered at the university, women's basketball saw the signing of Title IX and the transition into a Division I program less than 10 years after its inception.
The Patriots played their first game in February of 1974 and became a Division I program prior to the 1982-83 season. Mason joined the Colonial Athletic Association for the 1985-86 season and relocated to the Atlantic 10 Conference during the 2013-14 school year.
Stay tuned throughout the coming month for more features, information and so much more.
