Tick, tick, tick… the calendar is getting closer to Mason hoops and we can’t wait to see the Green & Gold on the court.

🔼 Back To The Grind. The A-10 leading Billikens of Saint Louis used two second-half goals to pull away from Mason’s women’s soccer team on a misty, chilly Thursday night in Fairfax. SLU remained unbeaten in conference play with the 3-0 victory. The Green & Gold are back in action on Sunday when they host Rhode Island at 1 pm.

🔼 They’ll Be Back. AD Marvin Lewis and Assoc AD Nena Rogers stopped by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee’s annual cornhole tournament and well, they have to work on their game a bit.

A great night in Fairfax spent connecting, building relationships and tossing some bags around.

🏐 TONIGHT AT THE RAC

🔼 More Than A Match. This Friday is more than just an Atlantic 10 match for the Mason volleyball team.

Sure, they want to go to 3-0 in league play, but more importantly, they want to raise awareness for childhood cancer.

The Patriots have partnered with the Cody’s Crew Foundation, to bring awareness to so many families and children impacted each year.

During Friday's game against Saint Louis, the Patriots will be wearing gold t-shirts as warmup shirts and fans are also encouraged to help "Gold Out" the gym and wear gold of their own.
 
Approximately 1,800 children lose their battle to cancer each year in the United States. Cody Johnson was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma on his second birthday and battled until March 6, 2009. Cody enjoyed playing soccer, pirates, motorcycles, and going to the beach. Since 2009, the Johnson family has run the Cody's Crew Foundation to support other children battling cancer across the world and has donated close to $500,000 to The Children's Oncology Group located in California.

🌟 MASON MADNESS IS BACK!

There’s an excitement building in the air and that excitement will reach fever pitch on Friday, Oct. 13th.

Mason Madness is BACK!

On Friday, October 13 at 7 p.m., EagleBank Arena will host the official kick-off to George Mason men's and women's basketball season. Mason Madness is presented by The Main on University. The Main on University is Mason Nations Official Student Housing Partner Located across from the Field House just steps from campus.
 
Mason fans will be introduced to the student-athletes from each team and hear from new men's basketball head coach Tony Skinn ('06) and women's basketball head coach Vanessa Blair-Lewis. Each team also will take part in a scrimmage on the EagleBank Arena floor.
 
In addition, Mason Athletics will welcome back the Green Machine for performances throughout the evening. The event also will feature performances from Mason Spirit and a variety of George Mason student organizations.
 
Mason Madness is free for all attendees and no ticket is required. The first 2000 fans in attendance will receive a complimentary Mason glow stick!

Also on hand at Mason Madness will be Uber Eats, the Virginia Army National Guard and many other proud partners of Patriot Athletics.

Helping Hands. As we’re taught when we’re children, “sharing is caring.”

Sophomores Damiana Bova-Ford and Gabriella Gelfound learned that lesson better than most apparently.

For the second straight season, the duo each has 200+ assists this year for Mason’s volleyball squad.

When was the last time a pair of teammates each had 200+ assists in back-to-back seasons?
