🔺 The Ants Go Marching. Now that’s what we calling making a statement!

The Mason men’s volleyball team wrapped up their trip out West in a MAJOR way, upsetting #3 UC Irvine, 3-2, on Tuesday evening.

Redshirt senior Jack Bolz and junior Omar Hoyos combined for 27 kills to lead the offensive attack, while Troy McDonald had a big day with 29 assists, seven digs and 2.5 blocks for the Green & Gold.

🔺 Super Sweep. You know what’s better than one award? How about two?

It was a sweep of the weekly Atlantic 10 awards with Sonia Smith and Kennedy Harris taking home the accolades, marking the fourth and fifth time the Patriots were recognized.

Smith and Harris had huge weeks as the Green & Gold took preseason favorite URI to the wire and then put on an offensive clinic on the road at Duquesne to close out the week.

🔺 Record Setter. Get on board folks, the Patriot train keeps rolling!

For the second straight week and program record fourth time this year, Mason Wrestling brought home a weekly honor.

Redshirt sophomore Malachi DuVall was named Co-East Wrestler of the week for his strong outing in the Patriots’ huge win at UVA.

🔺 Tough Tuesday. Sometimes, it’s just not your night.

A cold shooting night came at the worst time for the Mason men’s basketball team, who couldn’t connect from long range and dropped a tough 54-50 decision to visiting VCU at EBA on Tuesday night.

Keyshawn Hall (14) and Amari Kelly (10) combined for 24 points, 11 rebounds and four steals for the Patriots.
