There’s simply nothing like March.

The thrills. The agony. The excitement.

The eighth-seeded Mason men’s hoops team is set to kick off action in the 2024 Atlantic 10 Tournament TODAY when they take on ninth-seeded Saint Joseph’s at 11:30 am at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

🔺 Power Pair. The future is bright.

Two underclassmen from this year’s men’s hoops squad were honored prior to festivities getting underway at the 2024 Atlantic 10 Tournament in Brooklyn.

Sophomore Keyshawn Hall earned Second Team All-Conference accolades, while Baraka Okojie was named to the All-Rookie Team.

🔺 Never Say Die. You like action, well the Mason baseball gave you plenty of it on Tuesday.

In a thrilling mid-week showdown with Bucknell, the Patriots rallied for three runs in the bottom of the ninth to come away with a 13-12 walk-off victory to improve to 7-1 at Spuhler Field.

The deciding blow came off the bat of South Trimble, who laced a line drive down the left field line to score the final two runs of the contest.

🔺 Mad Man. Last week, senior Darius Maddox announced he would return for his final year of eligibility next season.

That’s HUGE news for Patriots fans as they watched Maddox take over games last week en route to earning his first-ever Atlantic 10 Player of the Week accolade.

The Bowie, Md. native averaged 19.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and shot 63.6 percent from the floor and 57.1 percent from 3pt range in two 18-point wins for George Mason.

🔺 Getting Defensive. That’s what we call home defense.

In Mason men’s volleyball two home wins last week, sophomore libero Paul Wyszynski got defensive.

The Northbrook, Ill. native recorded 21 receptions with only one error to have a success rate of .955 , eight digs, and 2 assists for the Patriots.

His performance earned him EIVA Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
