🔼 Viva Los Patriotas! “I’m very proud of where I’m from. It’s more than just a home for me, it’s my way of life.”

Sure, there’s a big futbol match in Fairfax tonight when Mason hosts URI, but it’s also a chance for the Green & Gold faithful to show love to many of the Patriots who wear their Hispanic Heritage with pride.

Mason will be looking for revenge after dropping a one-goal decision in Kingston last season.

🔼 Wreckin’ Gacek. Junior Ewelina Gacek will be looking to continue her hot streak when the Patriots travel to nearby A-10 rival, George Washington, for critical conference showdown tonight in DC.

Four different Patriots have 100+ kills so far this year with Gacek leading the way with 161. With All-conference standout Nani Spaar sidelined, Gacek has stepped up with double-digit kills in four of her past seven matches.

🔼 Let’s Try It Again. The Green & Gold head to the City of Brotherly Love for another shot at Saint Joe’s after Mother Nature had other ideas for their first matchup.

The two teams battled back on Sunday, Sept. 24, but rain caused the field to be too dangerous and it was determined to postpone the matchup until tonight in Philly.

Mason will be looking for its second conference win when they take on the Hawks this evening.

💚 MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS

Mason athletics is proud to partner with Hilinski's Hope for the 2023 Student Athlete Mental Health Week.

Hilinski's Hope Foundation was started as a non-profit organization formed to promote awareness and education of mental health and wellness for student-athletes.

Their vision is to help universities save lives, eliminate stigma, and scale mental wellness programs for student-athletes.

Softball, rings, seafood and BBQ? What’s not to love???

Mason’s softball program will be hosting the annual Mason Softball Fest, this Saturday, Oct. 7 at 4:30 pm at the Patriots Softball Complex right here in Fairfax.

Fans and supporters are encouraged to join the Patriots for an exciting evening – capped off by the presentation of the ring ceremony celebrating the program's first-ever Atlantic 10 Championship.

Fans can enjoy a night at the softball field with seafood boil, barbecue and fun yard games.

🌟 MASON MADNESS IS BACK!

There’s an excitement building in the air and that excitement will reach fever pitch on Friday, Oct. 13th.

On Friday, October 13 at 7 p.m., EagleBank Arena will host the official kick-off to George Mason men's and women's basketball season. Mason Madness is presented by The Main on University. The Main on University is Mason Nations Official Student Housing Partner Located across from the Field House just steps from campus.
 
Mason fans will be introduced to the student-athletes from each team and hear from new men's basketball head coach Tony Skinn ('06) and women's basketball head coach Vanessa Blair-Lewis. Each team also will take part in a scrimmage on the EagleBank Arena floor.
 
In addition, Mason Athletics will welcome back the Green Machine for performances throughout the evening. The event also will feature performances from Mason Spirit and a variety of George Mason student organizations.
 
Mason Madness is free for all attendees and no ticket is required. The first 2000 fans in attendance will receive a complimentary Mason glow stick!

Also on hand at Mason Madness will be Uber Eats, the Virginia Army National Guard and many other proud partners of Patriot Athletics.
