Despite not being born yet, Bannerman took it to heart and showed off those high-flying abilities this week in Oregon.

🔺 Way Up Walt. Hope the mantle is big enough.

After claiming the indoor and outdoor title at Atlantic 10 Championships, Walt Bannerman added to his impressive resume in 2024.

On Wednesday, the sophomore cleared a personal best of 5.37m to earn All-American status.

He claimed 15th place nationally at NCAA Championships to inscribe himself in Mason history.

🔺 Two Of A Kind. The season may be over, but the accolades are still rolling in for the Patriots.

A pair of stars for the Mason men’s tennis program earned A-10 honors this week. Sophomore Monil Lotlikar earned Second Team accolades, while junior Jacco Arends garnered A-10 All-Academic honors.

It marks the second-straight season Lotlikar has earned a spot on the all-conference second team, while Arends is an All-Academic pick in his first campaign as a Patriot.

🔺 Crown Him. Golf courses around the country are filled up this time of year with wannabe golfers.

One thing is for sure, Nikita Gubenko is no wannabe golfer.

The recent Mason graduate flexed his muscles last weekend, firing off 10 birdies en route to being crowned champion of the prestigious Kenridge Invitational at the Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, Va.

The tournament is a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) event and also provides points toward the VSGA player rankings.
