A weekend trip to the Windy City was a victorious one for the Mason women’s basketball team, flexing their defensive muscles once again en route to a 61-52 victory over Loyola-Chicago to extend the streak to eight straight.

Defensively, the Patriots limited the Ramblers to just 13 first-half points and an 0-for-10 half from beyond the arc to take command of the game before halftime.

Veteran Sonia Smith led three players in double-figures with her fifth 20-point game of the season, finishing with 21 points, four steals, three assists and two rebounds.

🔺 Speedin’ Up To Boston. It was a busy weekend in Beantown for the Mason track & field squads.

The Patriots competed against at both the Harvard Elite meet and at the Scarlet and White Invitational, hosted by Boston University.

With three weeks to go before the A-10 Indoor Championships, the Green & Gold competing against some of the best teams in the region over the weekend.

The Mason men’s tennis team got the first victory of the 2024 season this weekend with a 5-2 defeat on the road at Mary Washington.

Thursday night, Mike Elias of the Baltimore Orioles was pulling off a trade for one of the best pitchers in Major League Baseball.

On Friday night, he helped the reigning A-10 Champion Mason baseball program kick off the season at the annual First Pitch dinner.
