Get on board folks, the Mason women’s hoops squad is rolling.

Facing the defending A-10 champs, the Patriots rolled past Saint Louis on Wednesday night in decisive fashion, 91-61, behind another 20-point performance from sophomore Zahirah Walton.

Walton had 21 points, three rebounds, two assists and five steals on the night. It was her second career 20+ point outing.

Four others joined Walton in double-figures with veteran Sonia Smith (16 pts), Kennedy Harris (14 pts), Paula Suárez (13 pts) and Taylor Jameson (10 pts) all filling up the scoring column.

🔺 And Another One. Last week, Mason sophomore Malachi DuVall helped the Patriots set a program record with a fourth weekly conference award this season.

This week, he decided to make it five for the Green & Gold as the second-year standout earned his second straight MAC Co-East Wrestler of the Week honor after back-to-back pins in Mason’s matches last weekend.
