Don’t worry, this is the good kind of T’d Up as Tavi Habib takes us inside Mason women’s hoops practice to catch up with some of the Patriots as they hit the courts to get some work in.

🔺 Class Act. Not only did Mason junior Ali Tyler make waves in the pool, she made the same impact in the classroom.

For the third straight year, Tyler was selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team, announced late last week.

Tyler, a native of Cheshire, Conn., won three individual A-10 titles and three relay medals at the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championships.

Tyler, a forensic science major, won the A-10 championship in the 100-yard freestyle, claiming the gold medal with an A-10 Conference meet record time (48.84).  She won the A-10 title in the 100-yard backstroke for the third straight year, winning the gold with a NCAA-B time (53.48).  Tyler also captured the A-10 title in the 50-yard freestyle, claiming the gold medal for the third straight year (22.78). 

Tyler finished the 2023-24 season with 24 individual top-three performances with 13 first place, six second place and five third place finishes.
