Good Morning Mason Nation. Folks, get on board now.
It’s a great time to be a Patriot and we’re just getting started!
What a weekend on the court and on the mat for the Green & Gold! We’ve got all the details for you!
What all is stirring in today’s Brew? Check it out!
🏀 80s Night

📞 Dialing Long Distance
⭐ And much, much more!
📈 STOCK UP
🔺 80s Night. The price of gas was $0.83/gallon. Duran Duran and Culture Club were atop the music charts. President Ronald Reagan was finishing his first term in office.
That’s the last and only time the Mason men’s basketball program started 13-2.
Until now.
The Green & Gold turned up the Patriot Pressure to force 16 turnovers and used strong performances from Keyshawn Hall and Ronald Polite III to grab a 79-67 victory over perennial A-10 power Saint Louis on Saturday.
Hall and Polite combined for 41 points and 11 rebounds as Mason pushed their home record to 9-0 and have won 23 of its past 25 games at EagleBank Arena.
30 for Sonia Smith!!!

🔺 From Downtown. Good thing they don’t charge extra for dialing long distance anymore, if they did, the Mason women’s basketball team would be in trouble.
The Patriots connected on a school-record 18 3-pointers en route to an impressive 101-75 road victory over Duquesne on Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh.
Sonia Smith put together a performance for the ages with 30 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. She connected on 11 field goals, including five three-pointers.
Freshman Kennedy Harris also had a career-day with 23 points, five 3-pointers and three assists in the win.
🔺 Making a STATEment. Not a single member of the Mason wrestling program was alive the last time the Patriots toppled in-state rival Virginia.
They were all certainly alive on Saturday as the Green & Gold muscled their way to a thrilling win in Charlottesville, 18-17, to move to 8-4 on the year and hand the Cavaliers their first loss of the season.
🔺 Put It On the Board! The Mason men’s volleyball team etched their first victory of the 2024 season, blowing past Cal State Northridge, 3-1, on Saturday out on the West Coast.
Junior sensation Omar Hoyos earned All-Tournament accolades for the three matches as the Patriots will wrap up their west coast swing with a Tuesday night showdown at UC Irvine.

Despite playing in a city known for a tough, defensive-minded approach like the Steel Curtain, the Mason women’s basketball got offensive.
The Patriots were red-hot from the floor and poured in 100+ points in the road win at Duquesne.
When was the last time the Green & Gold score 100 or more in a game?
