📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Why Hello Gio. Less than a week after the NCAA basketball season wrapped up, the Mason men’s team already grabbed a BIG addition for next year.

Siena big man Giovanni Emejuru signed on to join Coach Skinn and the Green & Gold next season.

A dynamic, 6-foot-11-inch forward, Emejuru averaged 11.3 points and 6.3 rebounds as a junior for the Saints while shooting 56.8 percent (130-229) from the floor.

Emejuru started all 32 games for Siena this past season. He scored 10+ points in 19 games, including each of the last seven.

🔺 My Oh Myers! The sun was shining a little brighter than usual for the Mason softball squad on Wednesday.

Carly Cooper tossed seven strong innings for the Patriots to set the stage for grad student Maddy Myers who launched a walk-off solo shot over the left field fence to grab a 2-1 victory over local rival, Georgetown.

Cooper allowed just three hits from the Hoyas, while striking out a career-high 10 opposing hitters.
