📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Let’s Dance! For the first time in five years, the Patriots are postseason bound.

Earning the most single-season wins since 2019, Mason women’s lacrosse secured a bid in the upcoming Atlantic 10 Tournament in the final weekend of conference play via a tiebreaker with VCU and St. Bonaventure.

The Green & Gold will take on Davidson in first round of the A-10 Tournament, scheduled to start Thursday in Pittsburgh.

In Mason’s season finale against Saint Joseph’s, grad student Shannon Tuozzo ended her home career in historic fashion with four goals en route to setting a single-season program record with 6️⃣0️⃣ goals this year.

🔺 Workin’ On The Weekend. No better time to be hitting your stride than at the end of the year.

The reigning A-10 Champion George Mason softball squad is doing just that after picking up its third straight conference weekend win, taking two of three from St. Bonaventure to remain in the hunt for the sixth and final A-10 Tourney spot.

The Patriots picked up a 7-2 win in game one and closed out the series with a tight 2-1 victory to take the series from the Bonnies.

Entering next weekend’s final series, Mason sits in a tie with Rhode Island and GW, sitting three games out of the last tourney spot, currently held by UMass.

⭐️ A NEW ERA

A new era is officially here for our beloved University and Athletics department.

Last week, George Mason University unveiled a completely redesigned logo as the capstone of its three-year-long comprehensive rebrand. The new look, which will include a single logo for the university and its athletics program, asserts George Mason’s emerging identity as a national top 50 public university and Virginia’s top-ranked university for innovation and upward mobility, as well as the commonwealth’s largest, most innovative, and most diverse university.

The ongoing rebrand signals George Mason’s convention-defying rise to become a leading national public research university by expanding access to excellence through an unwavering commitment to inclusive innovation. The rebrand rollout began in 2021, with preparations to mark 50 years of George Mason as a university in 2022 with updated brand narrative that proclaims the university’s distinct approach to education as All Together Different.

🤔 PATRIOT TRIVIA

In Saturday’s 7-2 series opening win over St. Bonaventure, senior Carly Cooper played a crucial role in the victory on a day that her and her senior teammates were honored.

Cooper tossed a complete game, allowing just two hits and two runs on the afternoon. It was her 10th complete game of the season and sixth victory, marking the second-highest single season total of her career.

How many career victories does Cooper have in the circle for the Patriots?
