🔼 Home Court Advantage. Basketball season is bringing more than games to EagleBank Arena! The latest Inside Mason Nation update highlights a reimagined student section, expanded hospitality, a beer garden, and a Junior Patriots Kids Zone. The update also looks at the approximately 34,000-square-foot Basketball and Academic Performance Center, designed to support both basketball programs and provide academic services for more than 500 student-athletes.
🔼 Worth The Shot. George Mason men’s soccer beat George Washington 1-0 on Saturday night! Javier Montava Ortega made the difference, burying a shot from 30 yards out in the 53rd minute off a Quentin Clain assist. The Patriots closed their five-match homestand and now head to La Salle on Wednesday.
🔼 First & Foremost. Patriot freshman Kailey Hill scored her first collegiate goal that was the eventual winner in women’s soccer’s 3-2 win at St. Bonaventure, joining Abigail Merchant, and Molly Starner on the scoresheet. Gianna Chrapek assisted both second-half goals as George Mason improved to 8-4-3 overall and 4-2-1 in A10 play. The Patriots return home to face Rhode Island on Thursday at 6 p.m.
