🔼 Four Good Measure. George Mason men’s soccer picked up its first conference win on Wednesday, blanking Loyola Chicago 4-0. Javier Montava Ortega, Martim Sereno, and Kelly Janssen scored, with an own goal rounding out the Patriots’ season-high scoring night. The Patriots also earned their first shutout of the season and return to George Mason Stadium on Sunday to host Stony Brook at 5 p.m.

🔼 Sweep Dreams. Women’s volleyball swept George Washington on Wednesday, winning 25-22, 25-18 and 25-19 to improve to 13-4 overall. Kiera Hamilton delivered 20 kills, while Ava Cheney dished out 37 assists. The Patriots take a 5-0 Atlantic 10 record to Fordham for two matches this weekend, starting tomorrow at 2 p.m.

🔼 Making Waves. Patriot freshman swimmer Hadleigh Kulas wasted no time making an impression. The freshman earned Atlantic 10 Rookie Performer of the Week after winning the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke and contributing to a winning 200-yard medley relay in her first collegiate dual meet. Her performance helped the women’s team defeat Old Dominion 149–113, and the Patriots are back in the pool at the Richmond Duals today and tomorrow.

🔼 Fell Short. George Mason women’s soccer created plenty of opportunities in yesterday’s road matchup against George Washington, but the Patriots couldn't capitalize and fell 2-0. The Patriots will look to bounce back Sunday when they welcome Duquesne to George Mason Stadium at 1 p.m.
