Homecoming Week
Bring the energy at not one, but TWO home games this week as men’s basketball continues its quest for a second-straight A-10 regular season title. On Wednesday, the Patriots celebrate Black History Month during a matchup against Duquesne. Then, on Saturday, it’s the annual Homecoming Game vs. Saint Joseph’s and limited tickets remain!
Seats for both games start at under $15 (including fees).

🔼 Green & Gold Grit. Men’s basketball erased a 13-point deficit in the final seven minutes to stun St. Bonaventure on the road, 75-73, on Saturday night. The Patriots closed the game on a 17-4 run, holding the Bonnies to just four points over the final five minutes. Kory Mincy led the way with 22 points, while Fatt Hill added 16 and Jahari Long posted a career-best nine assists. George Mason improved to 20-2 overall and 8-1 in conference play, making this year’s team the fastest in program history to reach the 20-win milestone. The Patriots will return home to host Duquesne on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Dominated The Boards. The women’s basketball team stayed perfect in conference play this weekend, rolling past Saint Louis 66-51 at EagleBank Arena. Zahirah Walton stuffed the stat sheet with 15 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and two steals, while Kennedy Harris added 12 points and five steals. The Patriots dominated the glass and forced 19 points off turnovers to stay undefeated in A-10 play for the first time ever. The Patriots have a bye week before heading to Richmond next Saturday, February 7 for a 6 p.m. tip on ESPN+.

🔼 Weekend Sweep. The men’s tennis team put together a dominant showing in Annapolis, opening the weekend with a 7-0 sweep of Hofstra then edging Navy 4-3 on Saturday. The Patriots cruised past the Pride with wins across all singles and doubles courts, then leaned on strong singles play to secure their first victory over Navy since 2013. George Mason will head to Fredericksburg next Saturday, February 7 to face Mary Washington at 11 a.m.

🔼 Patriot Games Finish. Track & field closed out the Patriot Games with event wins, personal bests, and NCAA-qualifying marks on Saturday at the Field House. Nicholas DeWolfe claimed the men’s heptathlon title, while multiple Patriots picked up victories across sprints, hurdles, relays, and field events. Several performances landed on the NCAA Indoor Qualifying list as George Mason wrapped up a strong home meet. The Patriots will head to Philadelphia next weekend for the Penn Classic.

🔼 Home Court Statement. Men’s volleyball wrapped up the Uvaldo Acosta Memorial Tournament with two wins in three matches at the RAC. The Patriots opened the weekend with a sweep of Mount Olive, then topped Maryland Eastern Shore 3-1 before closing the tournament against No. 10 Ball State. George Mason showed balance on both sides of the net, setting season highs in service aces and extending its home momentum heading into the next homestand Saturday, February 6 and 7 against Manhattan University.

🔼 Road Challenge. George Mason wrestling fell to MAC-leading Lock Haven, 27-14, on Sunday. The Patriots are now 5-6 overall and 2-3 in conference play and will return home to host Clarion on Senior Day, February 13 at 6 p.m. at the RAC.
