🔼  Senior Day Statement. George Mason women’s basketball rolled past George Washington 67-52 on Senior Day at EagleBank Arena. Zahirah Walton led the Patriots with 22 points and eight rebounds, while Kennedy Harris posted 14 points and Mary Amoateng added 12 points. With the win, the Patriots improved to 19-8 overall and 14-2 in A-10 play.

Up next, The Patriots will host Saint Joseph’s for their final regular season home game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Rumberg Deals. Baseball picked up its first win of the season with a 6-1 victory over Ball State at the Swig & Swine Classic. Logan Rumberg tossed six scoreless innings, while Owen Clyne, Jake Butler, and Julius Bagnerise combined for 10 hits and five RBI. The Patriots closed the weekend with an 11-4 win over Seton Hall behind three hits from Luciano Terilli, a two-RBI double from Bagnerise, and Matthew Westley’s first home run in Green & Gold.

🔼 Home Sweet Home. George Mason softball opened its home slate on with back-to-back shutouts, topping Hofstra 6-0 and FDU 8-0. Abbey Lane and Alyssa Rangel each tossed complete-game shutouts. The Patriots followed with a 6-3 win over Hofstra on Sunday, highlighted by a two-RBI triple from Madi Sobota, before falling 4-1 to FDU to close the weekend at 3-1 in Fairfax.

🔼 Silver Finish. Men’s swimming & diving placed second at the Atlantic 10 Championships, highlighted by individual silver medals for Aoun Al-Hiari (100 butterfly), Tate Anderson (200 freestyle, 100 freestyle) and Ian Rodgers (100 backstroke, 200 backstroke). The Patriots also captured gold in the 400-medley relay and added silver in the 400-freestyle relay. On the women’s side, Mason finished eighth with strong swims from Kristen Ivey and Ainsley Toews.

🔼 Strong Start. George Mason men’s golf sits tied for third after the opening round of the Dorado Beach Collegiate at 2-over par. David Fuhrer II and Vaughn McMeans each fired 2-under 70s to pace the Patriots and are tied for second individually heading into Monday’s round.

🔼 Saturday Sweep. After falling in straight sets at No. 19 NJIT on Friday, men’s volleyball closed its road trip with a straight-sets win over FDU, 25-23, 25-21, 25-19. Aidan Weltin led the way with 15 kills and Jack Lopez added 10 as the Patriots improved to 7-6 overall. Mason returns home next weekend to host NJIT at the RAC.

🔼 Indoor Unbeaten. Women’s tennis improved to 4-1 with a 6-1 win over Coppin State, staying undefeated at Burke Racquet & Swim Club this season. Cenan Liu and Maitree Rout earned straight-set singles wins, while Brooklyn Siegel and Maya Bayat secured a 6-0 victory at No. 2 doubles to help seal the match.

🔼 Down to the Wire. Women’s lacrosse dropped a tight 14-12 contest to William & Mary on Saturday. Kate Anders led the Patriots with four goals, while Matye Riley added three as Mason fell to 2-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to American University on Friday for a 1 p.m. matchup.

🔼 Home Meet Wins. George Mason track & field claimed 10 event victories at the Father Diamond Invitational. Morgan Ryerson captured the 60m hurdles, Simone Hamlar won the 400m, Aylin Yirmibesoglu took the 800m, and Nicholas Emmert earned the 1000m title. The Patriots also secured multiple field event wins as they continue building momentum ahead of the A-10 Championships.
