🔼  Snowy Showdown. George Mason men’s basketball plays Saint Joseph’s in snowy Philadelphia tonight at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. The Patriots downed the Hawks 60-52 earlier this month.

Superheroes and Video Games Saturday

It's Super Gamer Day at men's basketball on Saturday! Kids can meet Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Spiderman pregame, then train with the superheroes at halftime. All kids in the training will then be able to showcase their moves on the court at a second half timeout. Plus, George Mason ESports will host pregame video game stations around the concourse during pregame! Lower bowl tickets start at under $15, click here to purchase!

🔼 Home Finale. Patriot women’s basketball hosts its final home game of the regular season tonight! They’ll take on Saint Joseph’s at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. The Patriots are coming off a big win over George Washington.

🔼 Midweek Matchup. George Mason softball added a midweek matchup to this week’s slate! They’ll play at No. 18 Virginia tomorrow at noon before heading to Greenville, South Carolina for the Paladin Tournament. The Patriots are coming off a successful 3-1 weekend.

🔼 Did It All. Softball’s Alyssa Rangel was named the A-10 Rookie of the Week after doing it all over the weekend. She pitched one shutout, struck out 13, and compiled a 0.58 ERA in the circle. At the plate, she registered three hits and three RBIs.

Additionally, baseball’s Julius Bagnerise was also named the A-10 Rookie of the Week! He hit .500 with his first collegiate triple and double, driving in seven runs over the weekend.

🔼 Student-Athletes. George Mason had 74 student-athletes recognized for their outstanding academic achievements at the Provost Scholar-Athlete Award ceremony. The award, established in 2009, honors student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher.
