🔼 Stage Is Set. George Mason women’s basketball begins its WBIT journey tonight! The 3-seed Patriots will host Quinnipiac at 7 p.m. Fans can purchase tickets here.
🔼 That’s A Wrap. George Mason’s men’s basketball season came to an end last night as the Patriots lost to Liberty 77-71 in the NIT First Round, despite a career-high 27 points from Jahari Long. The Patriots finished the season with 23 wins, tied for the fifth-most in school history, and qualified for their second consecutive NIT.
🔼 Midweek Match. The lacrosse team will host No. 15 Richmond today at 5 p.m. The Patriots are looking for their first win against the Spiders since 2019.
🔼 District Dog. Men’s basketball’s Kory Mincy earned NABC All-District Second Team honors, becoming the 26th player in school history to receive the accolade. Mincy ranked 11th in the A-10 in scoring and assists, and led the team in three-point field goals and percentage.
🔼 Three-Peat. Men’s volleyball’s Jackson Herbert was named EIVA Offensive Player of the Week after a strong performance over the weekend, including a season-high 15 kills against FDU. This marks the third consecutive week a George Mason player has received a weekly award.
