Good Morning, Mason Nation. The Patriots are Regular Season A-10 Champions!
By virtue of their regular season finish and conference tie-breaker protocol, the Green & Gold have earned the No. 2 seed and a double-bye and will open tournament play on Friday, March 6 at 5 p.m. facing either No. 7 Dayton or No. 10 George Washington. 👑 Regular Season Champs
🏀 Men’s basketball beat St. Bonnies
⭐ And much, much more!
🔼 Crown Them. The George Mason women’s basketball team claimed a share of the 2026 Atlantic 10 Regular Season Championship, marking the program’s first regular-season conference title. The Patriots downed Duquesne 65-48 on Saturday to clinch. The team’s 16 conference wins are the most in program history.
🔼 Lock Down Defense. George Mason men’s basketball defeated St. Bonaventure 71-58, holding the Bonnies to 37.5% shooting. The Patriots shot 48.1% and made 12 three-pointers, with Masai Troutman and Riley Allenspach each scoring 21 points. They’ll play their final regular-season road game tomorrow when they play at VCU at 7 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
🔼 Century Mark. Head baseball coach Shawn Camp earned his 100th career win as a head coach when the Patriots downed Lehigh 7-4 on Friday. Lucas Alberti led the offense with a home run, three runs, and two stolen bases. Every player in the lineup reached base at least once.
The successful weekend continued as Logan Rumberg and Brant Ertel combined for a no-hitter on Sunday, beating Lehigh 3-0.
🔼 Ranked Win. The men’s volleyball team beat No. 19 NJIT 3-1 on Friday. The Patriots dominated in several categories, including points, kills, and assists. The win marks George Mason’s first win against a ranked opponent since last season. The Patriots went on to shut out Dominican 3-0 on Sunday.
🔼 Medaling Patriots. The George Mason track & field teams excelled at the 2026 Atlantic 10 Indoor Track & Field Championships, winning multiple individual titles and setting records. Kennedy Drish and Walt Bannerman won pole vault titles, while Shania Staats claimed gold in the women’s long jump. Ella Semple set a new meet record in the women’s 5000m as she won gold, while Lloyd Sheppard-Brown set a new school record in the men’s 5000m.

Men's basketball wraps up the regular season by hosting its first top-25 opponent since 2024! The Patriots will celebrate their seniors Saturday when they take on #23 Saint Louis at 4 p.m. The first 1,200 fans in attendance will receive a free green Patriot Pressure t-shirt and lower bowl tickets start at under $20 (including fees).
