🔼 Early Ending. George Mason defeated Longwood 14-4 in seven innings. Aiden Parker earned his first collegiate win on the bump. Owen Clyne, Luciano Terilli, and Matthew Westley each had three hits, with Westley hitting two home runs. The Patriots scored five runs in the first inning and maintained their lead throughout the game.
🔼 Preseason Praise. The George Mason men’s golf team was selected to finish fourth in the Atlantic 10 Men’s Golf Preseason Poll. The Patriots are led by Vaughn McMeans, who is coming off one of the best fall seasons in program history.
🔼 Another One. For the second time this season, Aidan Weltin has earned an EIVA weekly honor! He was named EIVA Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Patriots to a 2-0 weekend against Sacred Heart. Weltin recorded a .735 receiving percentage, 12 digs, and 32.0 points, averaging 5.33 points per set.
🔼 Student-Athletes. George Mason women’s basketball players Kennedy Harris, Louis Volker, and Page Greenburg were named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. The team posted a 3.56 GPA for the fall semester.
