⚾️ Baseball hosts Richmond
🏐 Men’s volleyball honors seniors

🔼 Bringin’ Country Back. George Mason baseball hosts Richmond this weekend! First pitch is today at 2 p.m. and there will be a mental health awareness coloring station. The first 150 fans at tomorrow’s 2 p.m. game will get a free belt buckle!
🔼 Senior Celebration. The men’s volleyball team will host Princeton for a two-game series at the RAC. The Patriots, on an eight-game win streak, will honor seniors Liam French, Georgi Zahariev, Hayden Karpinski, and Elijah Lazor on Senior Day Saturday. Princeton has struggled in conference play but boasts a notable win against UC San Diego.
🔼 Double Trouble. George Mason softball finished the week 4-0, outscoring opponents 23-4. Bri Lencz earned Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors, while Abbey Lane was named Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season.
The Patriots will host Saint Louis for a three-game series this weekend. They’ll play a doubleheader tomorrow at noon, then conclude the series on Sunday at noon.
🔼 Building Momentum. The George Mason track & field teams will compete in the Duke Invitational through Saturday. Patriot athletes are scheduled to compete in a wide range of events, showcasing their talent and building momentum from their recent strong performance at the Dalton Ebanks Invitational.
Abby Weening enters the weekend as the A-10 Women’s Field Performer of the Week after finishing second in the high jump at the Dalton Ebanks Invitational.
🔼 New Addition. George Mason women’s soccer announced the addition of Chris Harwick and Fred Owusu Sekyere as assistant coaches. Harwick, previously at Louisiana Tech, brings a proven track record of building competitive environments and maximizing performance. Owusu Sekyere, returning to George Mason after a season at American University, brings over a decade of coaching experience across collegiate and professional levels.
🔼 Scholarly Stars. The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced its NCAA Division I Men’s Scholar All-American awards. George Mason placed six student-athletes on the Scholar All-America list, including four repeat honorees.
