🏐 Men’s volleyball wins two

🔼 Successful Senior Weekend. George Mason men’s volleyball took two from Princeton over the weekend! They defeated the Tigers 3-1 on Friday as Georgi Zahariev surpassed 2,000 career assists. They went on to beat Princeton again on Saturday after three hours and five sets! It marked George Mason’s seventh-straight EIVA win. Zahariev recorded a career-high 59 assists, while Robert Evangelista had a career-high 19 kills. The Patriots have reached 20 wins for the first time since 2008.
🔼 Series Secured. Patriot softball took the series from Saint Louis to move up to fifth in the A-10 Conference standings. They split Saturday’s doubleheader, winning the first game 3-2 and losing the second 4-1. The Patriots took Sunday’s game 4-2 to secure the series.
🔼 Tee Time. The George Mason men’s golf team will compete in the 11th Annual Mountaineer Invitational at the Pete Dye Golf Club in West Virginia. The tournament features 18 teams, including five nationally ranked programs, with George Mason’s best finish being 8th place in 2021. They’ll tee off today at 8:15 a.m.
🔼 Answered The Call. George Mason women’s soccer midfielder Amy Angel has been called up to the El Salvador Women’s National Team for the Concacaf Women’s World Cup Qualifiers. Angel will participate in the training camp starting April 4 and compete in the qualifiers, aiming for a spot in the 2026 Concacaf W Championship and the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
🔼 Finished Strong. George Mason baseball closed the weekend with a 7-5 win over Richmond. Matthew Westley had three hits a scored two runs to lead the Patriots. The Patriots will play at Mount St. Mary’s tomorrow at 3 p.m.
