⚾️ Baseball hosts Davidson

🔼 Salute To Service. George Mason baseball will host Davidson for a three-game series this weekend. First pitch is tonight at 2 p.m. Tomorrow will be the Salute to Service game and the first 100 fans will receive a free t-shirt. There will also be in-game trivia throughout the day. Active duty, veterans, and service members can claim a free ticket through VetTix.

On Saturday, April 11, Peppa Pig will take center stage in My First Concert, an interactive introduction to live orchestra at 1 and 4 p.m. This event is perfect for children, and ticket buyers can add on special Meet and Greet Experience. Then, on Sunday, April 12, "jaw-dropping" (ArtsHub), next level circus Circa performs Humans 2.0 at 7 p.m. This acclaimed company presents a symphony of acrobatics, sound, and light that's a unique live experience. 🔼 Alumni Weekend. The George Mason men’s volleyball team, currently on an eight-game home winning streak, will host Harvard for a two-game EIVA series. The Patriots, who have won 10 of their last 11 games, are led by Aidan Weltin in kills and aces. Harvard, coming off a split series against Sacred Heart, is led by Sawyer Nichols in kills and digs.

🔼 Midweek Shutout. George Mason softball defeated Maryland Eastern Shore 6-0, with a standout pitching performance from freshman Bri Lencz, who struck out eight in five innings. The Patriots’ offense exploded in the sixth inning, scoring five runs to secure the win.

Patriot softball hits the road this weekend for a three-game A-10 series at St. Bonaventure. The series begins with a doubleheader today at noon and will conclude tomorrow at noon.

🔼 Student-Athletes. Seven George Mason wrestlers earned Academic All-MAC honors — Kaden Cassidy, Joshua Dragovich, Malachi DuVall, Logan Messer, Benjamin Monn, Donovon Sprouse Sr., and Thomas Stofka. The honors go to student-athletes who excel in athletics and academics.
