🔼 Mark It Down. George Mason men’s basketball team will welcome Michael Marcus Jr., a 6-foot-9 forward from Appalachian State, for the 2026-27 season. Marcus Jr., known for his versatility and ability to play both the four and five positions, averaged 7.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game during his sophomore season.

🔼 Gone Pro. Former men’s soccer standout Javier Sánchez has signed his first professional contract with FK Jerv in Norway. His time at George Mason, where he became a cornerstone of the team and earned accolades like Atlantic 10 All-Conference honors, played a pivotal role in his development. Sánchez credits the program’s emphasis on discipline and continuous improvement for preparing him for his professional career.

🔼 Road Weekend. Patriot baseball hits the road for the weekend! They’ll play a three-game series at Dayton, beginning today at 3 p.m. The series will continue tomorrow at 1 p.m. and conclude on Sunday at noon.
