🔼 Welcome To The Show. George Mason shortstop Owen Clyne was drafted to the MLB! The Philadelphia Phillies selected him in the 15th round with the 459th overall pick.

🔼 Welcome Home. George Mason softball named alumna Emily “EJ” Bankson as the newest assistant coach! She will work with the outfielders, oversee alumni relations, assist with the Mighty Masons program, and serve as the camp scouting assistant. When EJ was a Patriot student-athlete, she was a three-time Provost Scholar, a VaSID Second Team All-State selection, and was named George Mason’s Most Improved Female Athlete.

🔼 Academic All-Stars. Both George Mason tennis teams were named ITA All-Academic Teams! The men’s team had four Patriots named ITA Scholar-Athletes — Niza Simunyola, Adria Franco, Nicholas Novitski, and Shari Saeed. The women had seven Patriots selected as ITA Scholar-Athletes — Mary Young, Maitree Rout, Shivaani Ganesh, Cenan Liu, Maya Bayat, Noelle Talarek, and Avleen Waraich. Student-athletes must earn at least a 3.5 GPA during the academic year to be eligible.
