🔼 Inside Mason Nation. George Mason Athletics experienced significant progress in the 2025-26 academic year, with achievements in academics, revenue, fundraising, and competitive success. The department’s “NIL for All” model focuses on creating opportunities for student-athletes and strengthening community connections. Exciting developments include new fan experience enhancements at EagleBank Arena and upcoming events like the TeamNOVA NIL Business Summit. There are exciting things ahead for 2026-27!

🔼 Taking Shape. George Mason men’s basketball announced two future home-and-home series! The Patriots will meet High Point and South Florida for the next two seasons. They’ll host South Florida on Nov. 21, then head to Tampa for the return game during the 2027-28 season. They’ll play at High Point on Dec. 2 this upcoming season and High Point will make the trip to Fairfax in the 2027-28 season.

🔼  New Staffer. Patriot men’s soccer has hired Tony Paolini as an assistant coach. He’s an emerging young coach in collegiate soccer, proving himself through his work in recruiting, player development, performance analysis, and opponent scouting. He spent two seasons at Fairfield University before arriving in Fairfax.
