Season-Opening Fireworks. George Mason men's soccer opens its regular season home slate on Thursday, Aug. 27 with a 7 p.m. game against in-state foe William & Mary! The annual postgame fireworks show will begin approximately 30 minutes after the match's conclusion. Plus, enjoy a bounce house, balloon artist, face painter, food trucks and more during the game! Tickets are just $10 and can be purchased online or at the game on the 27th.

🔼 Phone Call Away. Former Patriot pitcher Konner Eaton, now in the Colorado Rockies’ farm system, is confident in his pre-start preparation and is aiming to become the fourth Mason alum to reach the majors. He has been performing well at Double-A New Haven and was promoted to No. 14 on the Rockies’ prospect list. Other Mason alum, including Jared Lyons and Ben Shields are also progressing through the minors, with some former Patriots experiencing setbacks like injuries. 🔼 Plan Your Visit. The upcoming women’s soccer season features lots of fun promos for Patriot fans! From free food to exclusive giveaways, there’s something for everyone at George Mason Stadium.

The season begins tomorrow when the Patriots host Virginia Military Institute at 7 p.m. The first 75 fans will receive free KONA Ice!

🔼 Moving On Up. Two longtime Patriots earned expanded leadership roles. Nena Rogers has been promoted to Senior Deputy Athletic Director, Performance and Strategic Operations/Senior Woman Administrator as she enters her 28th season with George Mason Athletics. Keith Morrisroe was promoted to Deputy Athletic Director, Capital Projects, Facilities and Events. He has been with George Mason since 2014, previously serving as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Events.
