🔼 Undefeated Weekend George Mason women’s volleyball picked up three wins over the weekend. They downed UMBC 3-2 on Friday as they battled back after dropping the first two sets. The Patriots went on to defeat Morgan State 3-1 on Saturday as they finished with 55 kills and hit .215. They closed out the weekend with a 3-1 sweep over Loyola Maryland.
🔼 Senior Day Dub. The women’s soccer team celebrated Senior Day with a 3-0 win over Hampton. Abigail Merchant, Mia Casciani, and Kylie Beauregard scored Patriot goals in the second half. Goalkeeper Libby Davy recorded five saves win the shutout.
🔼 Fell Short. Patriot men’s soccer fell to Davidson 3-2 in the A-10 opener over the weekend. Kelly Janssen scored both George Mason goals. They’ll remain on the road to face Bucknell tomorrow at 7 p.m.
