Top-10 Tailgate. Men's soccer hosts its biggest home match in years when the Patriots battle third-ranked Ohio State on Friday, September 25 at George Mason Stadium! All fans are welcome to tailgate in Lot P before the match. Cars and trucks can load-in beginning at 4:45 p.m. for the 5 p.m. tailgate. Alcohol is permitted but all individuals entering the tailgate area must present valid photo ID. Grills must be charcoal to be utilized within the tailgate. 🔼 Bringing Home Hardware. George Mason men’s golf senior Vijay “JJ” Powell captured the first tournament win of his college career with a 10-under performance at the Rod Myers Invitational, firing rounds of 68 and 66 to win by three strokes. Along the way, Powell put his name all over the Mason record book and helped the Patriots earn a fifth-place team finish.
🔼 Clean Sweep. George Mason men’s cross country athletes earned A-10 honors this week! Alex DeRoussel was named the Performer of the week and Kolbin Heberlig earned Rookie of the Week honors. DeRoussel now has two individual titles under his belt this season.
🔼 Home, Sweet Home. George Mason women’s soccer returns to George Mason Stadium tomorrow! The Patriots will host Fordham at 6 p.m. on ESPN+. It’s Patriot World Cup & Grad Night on the pitch.
