⭐ And more!

🔼 Got the Dub. The women’s basketball team beat Akron 66-60 on Thursday. The Patriots are now 2-0 so far this season. Summer Yancy led the team with 21 points. Mary-Kate Tshibuabua and Anovia Sheals each scored 10 points. George Mason shot 43.6% from the field.

🔼 Community Relations. Fairfax County and George Mason Athletics have launched a pilot Athletics Ambassadors program that engages older adults as volunteers to serve as greeters, ushers, and ticket scanners at Patriots sporting events. The initiative promotes active lifestyles, health, and social connectivity among seniors while fostering intergenerational community bonds across Mason Nation. Organizers and participants praise the partnership as a mutually beneficial success that enriches the game-day experience and strengthens local ties.
